"From my earliest years dogs and cats have been part of my life.  Regardless of other home and career commitments, I always found time to care for them in my home.  Often times, this included those of friends and family who appreciated the love and compassion that I had for animals.  At the bottom of this page I will introduce you to some of the animals that have become a significant part of my personal and professional life .

I acquired the personnel skills needed to facilitate the training of dog guardians in my Human Resources career, because ultimately they "provide the day-to-day training to their dogs."

I stay up-to-date on animal behavior and training techniques by attending seminars and webinars by experts such as Suzanne
Clothier; Tracy Sklenares; Casey Lomonaco; KPA CTP; Karen London, Phd; Patricia McConnell, Ph.D;  Nicole Wilde, and Ian Dunbar.  The field of animal behavior is ever changing; and I want to stay informed of new theories and research."
