"From my earliest years dogs and cats have been part of my life.  Regardless of other home and career commitments, I always found time to care for them in my home.  Often times, this included those of friends and family who appreciated the love and compassion that I had for these animals.  At the bottom of this page I will introduce you to some of the animals that have become a significant part of my personal and professional life .

This passion was further enhanced by my perceived ability to communicate with them.  The desire to improve on these abilities became my goal and ultimately, my profession.  Attainment of my professional status included study and demonstrated mastery of
demanding academic requirements, mentoring in the field by professionals, and demonstration of these skills in an intern program.

Some of the skills required in my own business were acquired in my Human Resources (HR) career at Kodak and ITT.  As a former HR associate, I acquired the personnel and organizational skills needed to facilitate the training of dog owners who must ultimately provide the day-to-day training of their dogs.  These skills have been further enhanced by my pet related, volunteer resume which includes:
- Dog trainer at the Humane Society of Wayne County (HSWC)
- Assistant dog trainer at the Humane Society of Monroe County (Lollypop Farm)
- Pet-assisted therary partner providing pet therapy to area nursing & developmental                 facilities
- Adoption counselor for dogs and cats at Lollypop Farm.
-Animal Behavior College (ABC) mentor working with ABC students in the Western
NewYork area as part of their externship toward certification.
-Canine Good Citizen Instructor and Evaluator

Now, as an ABC Certified Dog Trainer who understands canine basic behavioral patterns and motivations, I would like to teach you and your dog the skills needed to build a strong bond between you and your dog.  Dogs that are appropriately trained give pleasure to their owners through enhanced companionship and reduced stress.  Simply put, through my positive training techniques, I show owners and their dogs how to live happily ever after.  Some testimonials to the success of my program appear on the "Testimonial" page of this website.  Let me show you, too!  I can be reached as follows:"

PAWS-I-TIVE BEHAVIOR DOG OBEDIENCE TRAINING

Think Pawsitive: Think how you want your dog TO behave.  Not how you want your dog NOT to behave.
